We are pleased to introduce Adam Buhring a teacher of students with autism at Cypress Elementary School in Kissimmee. Adam completed the Florida Department of Education - Partnership for Effective Programs. This program is sponsored by CARD and the Florida Department of Education, and is designed to increase the quality of educational programs for children with autism through the development and implementation of innovative programs.
He received his undergraduate degree from the California University of Pennsylvania, with a dual major in the Teaching of Mentally and Physically Handicapped Students and Elementary Education. While pursuing his degree, Adam worked in many capacities within a Group Home for adults with Mental Handicaps. Upon graduation, he moved to Florida, where he has been teaching students with Autism for the past five years.
