Upcoming Training
Upcoming training
dates:
July 31, 1999—Potty Primer
7pm UCF Student Union
Charlotte Harbor Room (313)
In response to parent requests, we are pleased to offer
this Potty Primer: the first step in designing an individualized toileting
training program. In collaboration with District 7 Developmental Services
(DS), CARD will provide training to families of 3-8 year olds working toward
toileting independence.
The Primer will overview methods of training and allow
parents to collect necessary assessment data for development of a toileting
plan. Take-home materials will be provided.
Once data has been collected, parents may initiate a follow-up
appointment with CARD staff. Families who have been referred to the Primer
by DS and meet readiness criteria will be eligible for in-home DS support
for program implementation.
Registration is limited, and the session will be repeated
later in the year. Call to preregister.
